Photos and article here

As to be expected, there are some lovely photos. I particularly like the Tiger (with the black background you're drawn instantly to those eyes), the Flamingos (the colour and the shape), and the Caiman (I can imagine it appearing through the murky water in front of you, argh!). The overall winner was the photo of the Penguins and whilst it is stunning, to me it looks really heavily worked on in Photoshop, or am I wrong? I would expect all the photos to be amended slightly, but I feel that the rest still hold a certain level of naturalness to them.
However, I dream of being able to take photos like some of those.

Awesome shots. I don't think it looks heavily worked on in photoshop, I know quite a few underwater photographers and it is incredible how amazing their photos come out even in low light at 30m. The water the penguins are in is very shallow but will also be amazingly clear. Paul Nicklen may have used dual strobes which pretty much non of the others wil have been able to use making it look very differnet.

I am not all that experienced so all of the above could be rubbish :p
