Will 180watts be suffcient?

You probably going to be pulling in excess of 120w -150w at full load, depending on the rest of the system setup, so its going to very tight.

can you just use a shuttle PSU? they go on ebay all the time for £20 for a 200w version or ~£40 for a 250w+ version.
i personally have a shuttle PC40 powering an OC xp4000+, a 7900gt, 2*sata hdds, a single ide hdd, and a dvdrw. the rails are a tiny bit low on it but they are rock steady. anyway just an idea

Power is an interesting one these days. My Core2 rig hardly uses any power really.

Core2 E6700, Geforce 7900GTO (Both at stock)
2 Gig ram
1 320gig Seagate 7200.10
SB X-Fi
Optical Drive, Zip Drive, Floppy drive
4 LED Case fans

Whole system draws 120W at idle, and about 175W when gaming. If I artificially load up the system, with Prime 95 running on the second processor core, and a graphics heavy game on the first core, I can just about get 210W power draw on the system.

Thats measured using a plug in power monitor. Considering the PSU's about 80% efficient, thats actually only around 168W load on the PSU. Hardly surprising that my 500W Seasonic runs cold :)

Corasik, you must recall that the C2D is on a smaller, more energy efficient process than the Turion Mosfet is talking about. That in mind I still think that Mosfet's machine would do OK with that wee ickle PSU.
