Will 3 280x overheat

Will 3 280x sandwiched start to overheat and cause problems?. I have no room to watercool so have some decent 2000rpm fans 4 intake, 3 out. I currently have 2x280x and at full load 64c MSI 58c on the gigabye model. The 3rd model is sapphire toxic D TY miners ).

I would say yes.

Depending on type of gpu's cooler and case air flow, two can sometimes be a problem.

Three will be quit hard to cool on air. I would think even with great airflow.

Seems you doing ok for 2 cards though, so maybe....

Well, if you have the cards, you could always, you know, try them out?

See how they perform one way or the other.

How will you know for sure until you test it for yourself?

Not meant to be a snippy post btw, if I had that rig, I'd be powering up first, asking questions later!

Sapphire GPU arrives wed-thur , so should have it tested for weekend. I think it will hit 80-90c so i might donate it to another PC.
