I have an Akasa Pax Power 400 PSU in the PC i'm using now, and have been buying parts for a new build.. But i still have too purchase a new PSU, Hard Drive and a CPU fan.

So basically if i use some of the parts from my current PC i'll have enough just to give it a whirl, but i'm wondering if the PSU would be enough until next week.

this would be the PC for now.

CoolerMaster 335 Case
Asus M4A78 Pro Mobo
AMD Phenom II X3 720 BE *with stock fan*
4GB DDR2 1066 Kingston Hyper X Ram
Samsung Sata DVD-RW
160GB IDE Hard Drive *from old computer*
ATI X800 Gto2 *from old computer*

Would it cope or could it explode?

hehe i'm kinda just itching to do stuff. :D

Plenty of power mate - I'm not sure what a X800 draws, but I remember the newer cards (X1800 and X1900) were more power hungry, and I used to have an X1900XT running off a 350W PSU.
