I was building a PC part by part online and the watt usage was around 350? So I got a 450 to be safe, but upon looking into PSU's Ive seen that its not worth it to try skimp out and go for a cheap one or an unknown company, My parts are

MSI Mech 5600xt GPU
Ryzen 5 3600 CPU
1 SSD
1 HDD
3 120mm Fans
16GB DDR4 RGB RAM

Brand of PSU is called ARESZE.

Just wondering if its worth sending it back and just getting a more solid PSU, Thank you.

Had just powered 3600XT + 2080ti OC + NVME + 3x 120mm case fans + 32Gb RAMM with Corsair VS 450W. Though it would not be enough, but my 750W A tier Aerocool PSU apparently is of crap quality so had to go for what I could source from friends.
Works fine and stable - and that requires more power compared to your system (if you don't count HDD). Through I have no plans to stay on 450W as it to close to the limit of 420W that my system actually drags at peak.

A 450w PSU will be more than enough. I used to run an OC 4790k and 1070 on a 450 watt and nearly stuck with it for my 3070.

Is it really giving out 450w on the 12v rail though?

Get a well know brand 450w. Only go higher if you think you'll want a more beefy GPU in the future.
