Hi guys,
I've got a XFX 4890 in my system at present which I still find is a perfect card for how often I game, not as much as I'd like, but I'm wondering what you think about the following scenario.
I've got the card currently driving a single Dell SP2309W, which runs at a res of 2048x1152, however I'm about to add a second screen of the same type so effectively giving me a very large desktop resolution. I don't plan on gaming over dual screens however I'm concerned that I'm going to pushing the card too hard for what it was designed for.
It practically gives off no noise, well now that I've replaced the stock heat sink with another directly from XFX and reapplied all the thermal paste as its now out of the warranty period, however I'd like to get thoughts on whether an upgrade would actually be any beneficial or whether to wait until the card eventually dies ... based on my experience quite a long time as I look after the hardware that I buy/use
Cheers
Dino
