will a 650w psu run this system ?

I just bought a seasonic x-650 gold for this case i hope the psu is up to the job do you think it will run all of ths

you think a 650w psu will run that i will be getting 1 gfx card and 2 hd at first but then get some more late rona dna extra gfx card

its just that the asus website psu calculator says i need 750w ? to have 2x gfx with 4x hd ? why is that

Online power use calculators have tended not to be very good so I wouldn't worry too much about such an excessively high recommendation. For comparison I plugged your system into this Antec one - http://www.antec.outervision.com/ - and it came up with a total of 328w.

thanks for that i tried putting some other stuff in like 10 usb devices and more hd and another cd rom and this was on a i7 chip as i could not find the i5 option and it came up to 500w, happy about that

to get it to 630w i would need 3 dvd drive 5 hd drives 2 x ati 5870 12 usb devices 1 extra pci scsi card overclock the cpu chip to 2.66 to 3.00 and 2 firewire device pluged in 6 fans all at 100% load, lol and i would never use all of that ever.

so i dont know what asus website is going on about
