will a 780i fit?

I'm looking for a case for my 780i atx mobo, a Coolermaster K-380, but the specs never say what size mobo the case will take, it just says atx, so am I wrong to assume that absolutely any atx mobo will fit? I'm worried because my old 780i mobo is quite a bit bigger than my new asus z87.

All cases state what size motherboard they take, itx matx or atx plus a few more. I think you mean graphics card size, seings though you mention " 780i mobo " ?

Your 780i mobo is a 'proper' ATX motherboard, Asus seem to do shorter ATX motherboards for some reason. So any case thats fits an ATX motherboard will fit yours.
