Aye, Fitment is the same - no need to change blocks or add an adapter plate :)

hey guys, just got my board and i cant see any possible way to mount the water block...

here are a couple of pics, on the RIVE the screws went in the underside of the board and through these holes, but these holes and blanked off

I assume i need some sort of special screw that goes in the top side, but what would it be and how can i get it

Well there doesn't look like there are any traces going through the holes, you could try drilling through them, at your own risk.

Edit: his mounting screws might be too long to fit in them.

im not going to drill out a new motherboard...there must be another way...

looking at it, all i need are M4 screws that dont have a head to them, just not sure what they would be called or where to get them

Less of the personal insult, he clearly states his mounting system previously bolted through the back of th board.

OP, you can mount it from the front, you just have to put the washers, spring and nut on the screws in reverse. It'd help to know what block you have.

Oh lawd, please just stop trying to give advice. Whilst it does look like there aren't any traces, his warranty would be GONE if he did that, so no, just no.

OP, Put the nut on the screw first and tighten it up to around the screw head, then put a washer, spring, then another washer. Place the block over the CPU socket, and screw all 4 screws in from the front. You'll then be able to tighten the nuts as you would have previously to hold the block down.
