Will a mac mini support a 30" display?

Hi

Can you run a 30" cinema display off a mac mini at native resolution? It appears so from several internet posts, but I don't see it mentioned on the Apple site, nor is the 30" display a display you can choose from when configuring the mac mini specs which I thought a bit odd.

Any first hand experience would be useful.

I run a 26" display no problem, if it helps.

You will need a display port -> Dual DVI adapter if you want to run a 30" Cinema Display.

Thanks. So I take it that with the adaptor native resolution on the display will be fine?

Yes, DisplayPort will run that resolution fine.

I would do a bit of research on that particular adapter though as some people have had problems with it.
