Will a max have clearer text than standard

not by much i doubt, im not wealthy enough to compare them but the problem was when they increased the resolution the text went smaller.
my elderly mother prefers old iphone 8 plus to these new models because the writing is much larger due to lower resolution.

erm, you can edit the text size in setting.
I believe the screens are the same, it's just the pro max is a bigger piece, so the DPI won't be any different, there's just more physical space.
When. you say you don't like the look of it, could you explain a little more? My Wife is severly sight impaired, so might be able to offer help, or ask her what she does if she had similar issues to you.
