Will a monitor with 1920x1200 run ok on 360 via VGA?

This Acer:

(24" display V243w, at bottom right of page, wont link directly)

Will I just get a small band at top and bottom edges due to display being 1200 rather than 1080 in height?

I don't think it supports 1:1 pixel mapping, so it will probably stretch to the full 1200 lines, unfortunately. It'll still work though.

Cheers, gone for different monitor now at 1080p....so all is good.

My 24" doesnt have 1:1 but it's genuinely hard to notice - depends on the panel i suppose.

Remember pretty much no games actually utilize 1080P though so you are still better off going for a monitor that does 1920x1200 along with 1:1 mapping for the 360.
