Will a .mov file work on a word Powerpoint

Hey guys

Tomorrow I have to give a pitch and have a .mov file ready to go (it's a short film clip)

However my lecturer runs windows on her laptop so the PowerPoint will be windows based.

My question is will this video work? If not an MPEG4 definitely will right?

It'll probably depend on what codecs she has installed on her laptop. I'd have thought that .mov will will likely need quicktime to be installed and even MPEG4 would not be supported by a default install (assuming XP as an OS although this is probably the same for Vista?)

hit and miss, more likely to work if it's a WMV.

What about MPG4? I'm exporting something from Final Cut Pro.
