Hi, I'm having trouble with lag on my network somewhere.Gaming ping has very high pings (80+) which i didn't have with my USB modem. I now have a Linksys WRT54GL (Wireless router) connected to a Zoom X3 5560 Modem. I will post ping and tracerts in a minute. If possible, could you tell me any possible ways to reduce this lag, as I need it fixed by christmas for xbox live

IPs: PC - 192.168.1.104 Router-192.168.1.1 Modem-10.0.0.2
They are all running on subnet 255.255.255.0.

Who is your ISP, I've never heard of eurisp and their website isn't working (handy).

Its more likely to be an ISP issue.
I'm with a small ISP called V21 (now biscit). i didnt have any ping problems until i swapped to ethernet router & modem though.

Configure the modem (Built-in router provides shared Internet access for up to 253 concurrent users) to issue the IP addresses. Turn off the DHCP in the router if possible. Looks like a rise in the ping during the 192.x - 10.x change.

I have DHCP on, but I'm (pc) is running on static IP, do i need to change?

DHCP on where? Turn it off in the router, on in the modem. Use an IP address in the same range that the modem gives out (10.x.x.x).
