Will a UK ADSL2 router work in Oz?

As title really, I've got a netgear something or other ADSL2 router and wonder if it will work on the Oz ADSL2 lines if I take it out? I can't see why it shouldn't but just thought I'd check if anyone knows different?

Providing you can adjust the encapsulation and PVC I don't see any reason why it would not work

Oh, OK ecapsulations is the PPPoA stuff... yeah I think it can do that.

yes it will, they also use Annex A
