Will AMD bechanging platform soon?

I fancy building a new pc in the new year and am toying with a AMD build I understand that the AM3+ socket is getting long in the tooth is it likely to be changed soon? I know Intel are changing sockets soon ( roughly when?)

sockets will change for steamroller cpu's due in 2014.

Intel are changing Q2 2013 from the looks of it.
AM3+ AFAIK was/is meant to work with Steamroller, but the above says it's changing (Wouldn't surprise me)

Steamroller is going to be AM3+ there might be a socket change for the performace end due to the AM3+ coming to the end of its life

In terms of their APU range I believe they'll hang on to socket FM2 for a while.
