Will AMD ever fix the corrupt mouse cursor issue that has been around for years

As per the title really.

Every single day my mouse cursor goes corrupt at some point and the only way to fix it is to restart the computer. I have just about had enough and am very tempted just to sell my 290X and buy a 970 for an easy life.

This is an issue I have had for the last 3 AMD cards I have owned. It is a common problem that is well documented. I have the latest drivers.

Just so everyone is on the same page, this is what I am talking about:

Can any AMD rep comment? It may seem minor but it is making me not want to keep my other wise great video card. Well that and the complete lack of driver support but that is another matter.

If you had this through 3 different amd GPUs then am sorry but this clearly something else making this happen..

Can you get a screenshot of the glitch happening?

It is definitely an AMD issue. I have had a combination of different hardware and every time I had an AMD card I get these issues. The 290X has been the worst so far getting the corruption ever single day without fail.

I don't think AMD have ever even acknowledged it is a problem. You just get the usual standard response on their forums.

It seems to be quite random but it is definitely a problem with AMD video cards. I had a 970 installed in this system before the 290X (I used DDU to remove the Nvidia drivers). There have been no other hardware or software changes apart from games.

The top corner fix doesn't work for me.

It really isn't all that helpful for people to come on here saying "this has never happened to me". To those people I say lucky you. This is a widely documented problem that has been around for years that AMD have never managed to fix.

I know AMD have a rep here. Why no comment?

I disagree, it is useful to know how common this problem is. There are plenty of people who use multi monitors and AMD cards who do not have this issue.

It might have been useful to know how common this problem was if it was a new problem.

This problem has been around for years and it has been well established that it affects many AMD users.

I am not looking for an argument here. I would just like an AMD rep to at least acknowledge the problem, let us know if there is any chance of a fix and give us some sort of timeline.

I realise what I am asking is probably impossible for AMD to achieve considering no effort has gone into resolving it thus far. They can't even get drivers out for new games.

I seem to have come to the conclusion that this whole thread was probably a waste of time and just an avenue to vent my frustration at AMD. Great hardware, Poor Software.

Nvidia here I come.
