Will an APU run anno 2205 well on medium?

specifically mobile versions...

The computer deals fell through(sellers messing around) so I'm back on the hunt, but think I will stick to laptops, however I couldn't afford a used gaming laptop for a few months that's worthy of purchase and I fancy playing anno 2205 lol.

Don't know what it would take from a laptop to run that game on anything apart from high Without reducing resolution.

Bad time to buy a mid-range (i.e. the sweet spot for performance and price) laptop.

AMDs Zen + Vega APUs are coming sometime in 2H 2017, although sadly no exact date (maybe they'll say something at SIGGRAPH at the end of this month, when they launch RX Vega).

But the top one is supposedly 4 Zen cores + 704 Vega cores. So that'd be along the lines of an R5 1400 + RX 460 in a good value laptop. That'll be a nice combo.

Thanks for the reply.

I don't have time to play games all the time to justify spending anything over £200, hell I found a decent gaming laptop of old by asus that's £350, but a lot of money, Right now I just want to play anno 2205 as I play x1 a lot, I'm struggling to find intel bases quads with good enough graphics which is why I thought for that money I might be able to find an A8 or A10 K model with good enough graphics performance.

If your budget is only 200 quid I would not bother as yes you can get an apu but it will be low enough end one and at that price you'll likely only get 4gb system ram of which apu will use some so it won't be a nice experience

You will have a pretty bad time on a £200 laptop.

Best thing to do is either get a desktop for the same price that's got decent specs or else put a little more in and buy a 2nd hand laptop with something like a GT940m.

Yeah £200 is not going to buy you anything even slightly gaming-minded, at least new.

I'd look into desktops, and second hand components, if you're on that tight of a budget.

I don't think you'll be able to get a laptop that can game for that, even second hand.
