Will an Ivy CPU work in a Z68 Extreme7 Gen3?

I don't see any bios updates listed with any mention of adding ivy bridge support as I have heard about for other brands. What is known about ivy compatibility with 6 series boards? (I know they will fit )

It has to work foremost to get Gen3 compatibility.

Theres a new beta bios out on the website that supports 22nm CPU`s

"Supports Intel's next generation 22nm CPU.
To support Intel's next generation 22nm CPU, corresponding BIOS, and drivers update are required."

Good stuff, do you have an ivy chip allready? I have seen them for sale but not a place I'd be happy to buy one from tho

no no, i doubt ill even get ivy, not been impressed enough to jump from current pro, but just making sure bios is up to date
