Will an upgrade be worth it?

Hey I've got the itch to upgrade. With winter coming up and a couple of games I want to play.

at the moment I'm running

8320 @ Stock
TeamGroup Vulcan 8GB
290 R9 (noisy reference)
SuperFlower Leadex GOLD 1000W
ASUS 990FX PRO R2.0

If I were to upgrade to a 6600k setup would I see a good increase in fps? I've tried playing Rise of Tomb Raider and it's abit unplayable really.

Yes ROTR does benefit from a decent CPU and your overall system will feel a lot slicker too.
