Hi, i have 2 260GTX Maxcore H20 cards obviously overclocked. I want to add a 3rd can i get a standard 260 Maxcore put a waterblock on it and clock it up to the same specs? Is it easy enough to do and whats the easiest program to acheive this? Thanks in advance.

Don't really see the point of tri-sli tbh, unless you play at extreme resolution or have a very fast CPU your not going to see any of the small gain tri 260 gives you over 260 SLI.

I game at 5040x1050 so it would be quite a gain at this res i think? correct me if im wrong. and my computer spec is above i have a QX6850 Extreme cpu which i am planning on o/c aswell.

no problem looks like ill be going for it then if thats the case, thanks. Will it o/c from the standard settings right up to all the settings of my current 260 BFG O/C 260's? cheers

Yes you can add a third, you can add any brand, with any clockspeed, they only have to be GTX260 maxcores to be put in sli. If the clockspeed of the new one that you add is lower, just overclock it to be the same as your BFG cards :)

Depends on the overclock, most will easily do any frequency below 700MHz, over that it would depend on the quality of that particular card.

Just one last quick one on the few sites ive looked at the 260 bfg has 216 processors and the 65nm to match my existing cards however on BFG's website all the 260's in the technical spec state 192 processors? could someone please clarify which is correct? Thanks. P.s does the 55nm and 65nm make a difference ? i mean can i mix this or not?

I'm mixing 55nm 216sp with 65nm 216sp fine, not problems at all, theres still a few 192sp cards out so watch out for those, tho they will SLI fine with the 216 cards obviously thats not an ideal mix. In this case you'd have to ask the shops specifically, however all the 260 cards sold by OCuk appear to have the correct numbre of SPs in teh description, I can't comment for elsewhere.

The only differences between the 55nm and 65nm GTX260 216's are GPU size (obviously) plus minor board layout and component revisions. Functionality remains exactly the same.
