Will anything ever surpass Baldur's Gate?

Not even Neverwinter Knights, Dragon Age or Mass Effect even comes close. I have BG 1&2 on 100 CDs JK and would prefer it on steam for less hassele. Unfortunately it's not avalable. > :-(

I love how you have to plan your BG character to what you want him or her to turn out like in BG 2.

This may sound odd but I hate turnbased rpgs but BG is my fav RPG of all time. Maybe it's jrpg turnbase style I don't like.
