i noticed that certain types of ram have a voltage number next to them, for example....
Corsair 2GB DDR3 Dominator 1800C7DF
this ram has a vdimm ov 2.0v
does that mean that this ram has been tested at this frequency running at 2.0v?
If the answer is yes the does that mean that this ram will be fine to run at 1.65v and above?
thx gibbo, what cooler would you buy(air) if you had a asus p6t deluxe with 920 cpu? i have an antec 1200 case so i have plenty of air going in
Hi there
The Akasa Nero I7 cooler, its superb!![]()
Hi there
No no no!
You need to buy one of the kits from the X58 Triple channel section, those are designed to work with I7 and operate better at lower voltages.
If your a veteren overclockers and ***know*** what your doing then go with the Cellshock OcUK pre-tested stuff, otherwise go with the Corsair or OCZ 1600MHz kits and clock those up a bit.
