Check the last few pages of the Bulldozer thread, if you are this itchy. Clock for clock is a no (as in IPC vs IPC per thread), and was never on the cards. No hard facts for the rest at the moment. Release in just over three weeks. Find out then. :o

Until the official reviews are released then nobody is really sure ATM. On top of this IPC is not everything as we need to consider what clockspeeds Bulldozer can hit too and on top of this OS support is important. Another factor is that IPC with all the threads used is likely to be less than when half the threads are used.

Large number of smart hardware threads and high clocks is the selling point of the chip, atm. If that is something you are after, it shouldn't fail to satisfy. As CAT says, though, E-PEEN wars of Red vs Blue will have to wait. :D

just want something to push my games further like arma 2 etc , on the phenom,arma2 is running about 20 fps slower than the i5 but i dont know the clocks the i5 are at .....

i will wait and see bulldozer is going to be cheaper for me , i still need a new mobo , as my one uses old ddr2 and wont support bulldozer as its am2+am3 ..... older asus m4a mobo
