My motherboard has a FSB of 1066Mhz and it takes ram up to 667Mhz so it says.

So i was thinking of getting an E2140 and wanted to do some med OC'ing.

So would i get away with say cheap unbranded 667Mhz ram or should i pay a bit more...?

Also do you buy ram with factory set timings or can you just set the timings in the bios for all ram?

I think i need timings that start with a 4, something like 4,1,1,1,15 or something like that... so that would be like cas 4 right ? I dont't want to end up with cas 5 and find no OC!

Bit of a newb with regard to how ram affects OC and what timings etc to use..

Any info here?

Any real world benchmark will show you that.

By real world benchmark do you mean "hmm my game seems faster" or "I have an extra 200 points in whatevermark 09"?

I got some budget Patriot ram at auction around 4 months ago, £50 for 4 gig. It's been great and I can't complain.
