will connecting via hdmi clear shadows.

currently i have shadows when i connect to my technika 37" tv but all other tvs in the house the graphics are perfect. if i connected my pc toi my technika via a dvi to hdmi would that help any. or is a new monitor or tv in order

IF you are using a VGA cable
AND
IF by shadows you are refering to ghost images (usually to the right of the real image )
THEN the answer would be yes

Decent vga cables have inductors near each end (to cancel out reflected images)

Iam assuming your vga doesnt have them ?
