will ddr2 motherboard work with a ddr3 graphics card?

please will someone tell me if i can use a ddr3 graphics card in a ddr2 motherboard? i really need some help with this. any advice is much appreciated.
*edit* sorry but its not a ddr3 graphics card but its a gddr3. i really dont know if this makes any difference?

Yup it will work fine, they don't interact with each other in the way you may think!

It's not the same thing. As long as your system ram is DDR2 it's ok. What a mess we would be in if we needed to match up graphics ram as well. There's all varient's from DDR to DDR5. Upgrading would be fun.

Just make sure your PCI is the correct one. or it will be lights out.

Your graphics card goes in your pci-e slot, not your DDR slots. The GDDR3 is the onboard graphics memory of your card. So it will work fine.
