Hey guys. Finally Almost completed my new build project (which began in December 2020!) and looking for keyboard and mouse.
PC is hooked up to 75" 4K TV via HDMI 2.1, and I'm sitting about 3.5m away from the TV (4m from PC) and don't want to trail cables directly across the floor.
Been greedily looking at the Logitech G915 keyboard with G903 mouse and the Powerplay charging pad combo, but would obviously need the Powerplay plugged in for the mouse to charge and communicate with PC, and will also need to charge the keyboard when needed.
Is there any reason this set up wouldn't work if I were to route a 10m active USB cable from my PC neatly around the skirts of the room and connect it to a powered USB hub which will be right next to where I'm sitting?
I can keep the Powerplay connected to the hub all the time, and then just connect the G915 whenever it needs charging and can continue on gaming.
Any reason to worry about the 3 devices connected to the USB hub at the same time, or any reason to worry about the keyboard and mouse communicating with the PC as they will share the connection via the single 10m active USB cable ?
Also considering the G815 keyboard as it's significantly cheaper than the G915, but just want to confirm if any issues with the set up plan before I make my choice.
