Will i be able to get 4mb ADSL with these numbers?

It may be, but it'll still do over 1GB per hour. I honestly cannot see how a home user can possibly need anything more. I download a lot of data over my 3mbit data profile (very long, but tweaked line), and since its been this fast i can honestly say that speed is an almost non issue.

Its a nice to have, but hardly at all necessary even if you like to download "iso's" all the time.

There are countless uses for more than 3mbit of bandwidth.

Just because you dont need it, doesnt mean that others do.

Why do you think other countries have 10mbit, 100mbit, 1gbit connections etc?

Why do you think BT is rolling out ADSL2+ in 2008?

There is a demand for these kinds of speeds, or there wouldnt be any investment would there.
