will i be better off...

hey guys... im doing a spec for my mate in holland
at the moment ive specced 2 x 6800GT in sli mode.
(asus 6800GT 256MB)
but ive been thinking - would he be better off getting ONE 7800GTX or somehting giving him an option to stick another in sli mode at a later date if he needs to.
we were going off the toms hardware tests, and the basis that hes not likely to upgrade for a few years)



btw am i allowed to post a link to a dutch WEBSHOP for ease of advice ?
it doesnt appear to ship to the UK so i cannot see it being a competitor.

his budget is 503 EUROS

ATI isnt an option as were going for an SLI mainboard ( which has took a lot of finding to find a mobo suitable for his needs)

and he would be better getting one 7800GTX compared to the two 6800GT's

Yeah 1x 7800 GTX would be much better than 2x 6800 GT's in SLI, if the company doesn't ship to the UK then it should be fine to post, ive seen few places posted before that have been fine as they don't ship to the UK.

i know you can still use them,, but its just incase he wants to stick anothe ron in at a later date it would make more sense to have an sli capable Nvid card.
