Heyy all,

I ordered a GeForce 560 Ti yesterday to use for my old system i got, heres the specs:

XP Pro
2GB DDR2 6400
Uknown Mobo, This pc is an upgraded retail desktop from acer,
Athlon X2 4400+ @ 2.3GHz
Corsair TX 650

Now with this CPU i knew i would get bottleneck, and i asked on the forums a few days ago just how much i will get, and apparently, a lot ;)

So ive been looking for some cheap overclocked bundles and found these 2;
I did find some i3 bundles but with more games supporting more than 2 cores nowadays ill have a better price to power perfomance with AMD,

The first

Or

The second:

• Gigabyte GA-880GM-D2H AMD 880G (Socket AM3) Micro-ATX DDR3 Motherboard
• Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus CPU Cooler
• Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound
• 1 Years RTB Warranty
• No Operating System

Features:

• 3.80GHz Quad Core CPU
• AMD® 880G Chipset
• 4GB 1333MHz Dual Channel DDR3
• DirectX 10.1 via the integrated Radeon HD 4200 GPU
• Video Outputs: 1x VGA, 1x DVI-D, 1x HDMI
• 12x USB 2.0 Ports
• 4x SATA II Ports
• Gigabit LAN
• High Definition 7.1 Channel Audio CODEC
• Expansion slots: 1x PCIe 2.0 x16 Slot, 1x PCIe x1 Slot & 2x PCI Slots

The only difference is the CPU's, but will i get ANY bottleneck with either of these Bundles? and if i would, what bundle/system would you reccomend so that i get a minimal bottleneck or no bottleneck at all??

P.S: My Price limit is £350 But i'd like to spend as little as possible :P

Any Idea's or suggestions are greatly appreciated :)

Thanks in Advance :)

2500k - £170
4Gb 1333MHz DDR3 - £40
CPU Cooler - £40
P67 mobo - £100

Generally what I'd be looking at. I don't have much personal SB experience so someone else can probably recommend specific components.

£40 on cooler... Nooo no need for that... Nor for Ram

Bottleneck solved.

hmm, they all seem like good decisions, but ill have to see how ong it'll take for me to get £280 and £350, as i dont want to finally have £350 by christmas and then see the ivy bridge bundles for the exasct same price, i also dont want to be playing games with the bottleneck for long, i dont mind 2-3 months, but if a can get £200 in 2 months i suppose i wouldnt mind waiting another 1 or 2 to get enough for the i5...

My prices were generous estimates. I was originally thinking of an Akasa Venom or Gelid Tranquillo, sone XMS3 and a P8P67.
