Serious question though, iirc USB is 5v? Just not sure on the ampage, just rather not pull it out and get a shock .

Of course you won't, the shock isn't even string enough for you to pull away. It's like bad puns and needles. Had a dodgy USB port that always shocked me if I plugged something in.
