Will i fan controller b able to change the speed of these fans

I have 3 fans with my case but the 3 pin connection that goes to the mobo only has one wire and the fans are powered with the molex connection if i get a fan controller will it b able to change the speeds on these fans or do i have to get fans with 3 wires on the 3 pin connection

It sounds as though that single wire is the speed sensor for the mobo. It's not needed really, only to see the rpm of the fans.

Connect up the fans molex plugs to a 4pin-3pin converter then plug it into the fan controller. Leave the single wire in the mobo, you might as well
