Hey guys, please excuse me if I seem eager.
This is my first Apple product and I'm making the big switch from the Pc, but on my status it currently says:

Current Delivery Status In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule 10 Jan 2011

and it has said this from Friday 7th.

So will I get my apple today or?

The status has been the same since fri as apple don't have Saturday delivery contracts in place. Just track the consignment through the couriers website or ring them up surely?

Erm, I'd like to clarify, i've currently got 3 threads up.

1. Is about the money going back into my bank account.
2. This one about whether or not it's going to come.
3. Asking about delivery times.

So erm, yeah.

and I'll give apple and the couriers a call tomorrow if it's not here.

Just be patient!

Youngsters now a day just have no patient, they expect all restaurants are like McDonald. All food are pre cooked!!!

I'm 20 lol.
If a moderator is available, then he can delete my older threads, I have no obligations to that.

We all get anxious about delivery times these days (or atleast I do).
Switching to a Mac is somewhat of a big deal, sorry.

Maybe for you. It isn't for most people. If you need some information, try the horses mouth not a discussion board.

What is it with younger members of society and their sense of entitlement?

It isn't for most people? I beg to differ.
Most people who are life long Windows users, switching to a Mac or "making the switch" is rather a big deal o.o..

But everyone is entitled to an opinion.

I don't get that second comment, the;

Wasn't a problem for me. Walked into an Apple store, had a try of one got some advice from a bloke then paid with my credit card. Done and dusted in 10 minutes!

Making the decision to purchase is the "big deal" if there is one. Stressing about delivery is just impatience.

Oh i'm not stressing about it, I'm going back to University on thursday and to not have it by that time would be somewhat of a dissapointment :).

And I didn't go into the apple store as you can tell, so everyone is different.

Old people can be just as impatient.

A lot of couriers don't work on Saturday or Sunday. That's probably why it's been at the depot since Friday. This is really not that hard to comprehend but it's amusing that you would rather take the time making these threads and answering people trolling than actually reflect for a minute and arriving to a reasonable conclusion.

Who is trolling here? Because I am certainly not.
I've been to a few forums now asking people how their orders went through, how long do they take, is my waiting time normal as far as apple goes?

I like to read into this stuff.

What I find "Amusing" is the fact that people are getting angry/annoyed or whatever and attempting to create an argument over nothing, down right pathetic.

You know you will get a better idea if you enter the Carrier number into the Couriers website. For me it was UPS.

I've got a courier number now, i've only just got it about 10 minutes ago.
I've been told to input it on the TnT website, but their tracking service is undergoing maintenance at the moment, so I can't see where it is or whatever. >:

Edit

nevermind it's ups like you said, well played sir.
i got the up to date ups tracking now.

Ah right well speaking from experience the Couriers website will give you better information than the Apple site. Like a definite delivery date etc...

Saying that for some reason my UPS delivery from Apple hardly updated. I got it delivered on the date they stated ok but when I got it their website said it was still in the depot.

Yeah my delivery date, the estimated one has been moved up to tomorrow/today (11th) on the apple tracking, so guess I'll have it later.
