Will I lose email when I transfer my domain?

Hi,

Quick question. I was thinking of transferring one of my existing domains to a new hosting company, and was wondering, is there a chance I will lose email for a short time while the transfer propergates?

If this is the case, is there anything I can do to help keep this to a minimum?

If your hold host has webmail, use that to check in the old place for a few hours or so, to catch any e-mail that might get left behind
