Hi all looking to put another 5850 card into my system but will i need a new psu the one i have is a seasonic 650w ? or better buying a new card want to be ready for new games later in the year ie bf3 i run 24" lcd at 1920x1200 and max settings cheers all

oups misread. Should run two. Should have something like 50 / 54A on 12V. Written on the box / PSU somewhere. May need molex -> PCIE adapters though.

According to this review power consumption for dual 5850 when benchmarking comes in at under 500W but officially AMD recommends a 650W+ PSU. Given that you have a decent quality PSU you will be fine.
