I ordered the Creative x-fi Extreme Gamer but from a competitor but now I'm concerned I've made the wrong choice. It's not arrived yet, but I've noticed that the model numbers are slightly different.
The one that OcUK Sell is 30SB073000002
The one that I bought is 30SB073000001
I'm not sure what the difference is, but I think this means that I've ordered the Low Profile one. I think the Low Profile one lacks the Digital->Analogue conversion or something like that?
I only plan to use this for playing games using Head-phones. (No movies, no music, no surround sound etc). Will I notice the lack of this converter? Does anyone know of any other difference?
