Im getting 4gb of RAM, and these are the 2 I have found.

OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC6400 Titanium Memory CL4(4-4-4-15) @ £39.99

and

OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800Mhz/PC2-6400 GOLD XTC Memory Kit CL5(5-5-5-18) @ £32.99

But is the extra £8 worth it and will I see the difference?

Is there any other RAM that anybody else can spec me?

EDIT: This also takes my fancy @ £50

OCZ 4GB Kit (2x2GB) DDR2 1066MHz/PC2-8500 Reaper Memory HPC Edition Dual Channel

Unlikely, there is a thread in the Memory section with just this question. Only few members have ever gone over using 4GB of ram so unless you run very intensive programs a lot of the time, you won't notice anything.

well, from my own experiences in the last 12 months i have had quite a few memory modules. I had 2GB ddr2 800 Memory, 3GB OCZ 1600Mhz DDR3 memory (that was bad memory for my current board, i had to wind the clock speed down to 1333mhz for it to be stable) and now i'm using 1333Mhz Corsair memory (cracking stuff, big heat spreaders though).

Between the ammounts and the frequencies i have noticed no difference at all in response time or on the drain on system resources, although i would'nt have less than 3GB on any system if i can help it, but sometimes i can't due to budget.

I've never used over 4GB and most vendors say not to install over 4GB as it may compromise system performance and many review sites also say that they have noticed negligable performance between DDR2 and DDR3 memory types also, so be cautious if you are planning to upgrading to DDR3 in the future.

The only time that i think you would notice the difference is when it comes to overclocking, i'm not sure how that works but apparently some memory types are more stable than others for overclocking but thats about all i know, but if i were you i would go for Crucial Ballistix 1066Mhz memory, i had 4GB of that stuff myself a while back and it was fantastic memory and now it's only about £33 per 2GB if i remember right.
