Its not really a bad move as the prices off second hand gtx280 is dropping all the time due to newer cheaper cards with the same performance levels coming out. This way he makes a profit and keeps the same level off performance.

yes i made a tidy profit and will have £45 spare and comming from a GTX 280 to a 4890 i dont think i will notice a massive drop in performance im led to believe

im going to be ordering a 4890 tonight still have to decide on either the xfx with the 2 free games 1 being very good or the asus with the voltage tweak?
