i have asus direct cu11 2gb 6950 card i plays everything sound would i see difference if swapped for 7970 or 7950 or should i go down the nvida route
 
If it plays everything well then you won't really notice a difference. If you notice it struggling and it annoys you then it is worthwhile upgrading.
