will it fit my mobo

Hi guys
I have a gigabyte ga-p31-ds3l mobo supports pci-e1.0
want to fit new card-palit 8800gt sonic
this card supports pci-e2.0
I believe that this is backwards compatible
can anyone tell me if i will have enough room to fit this card on the board ...and if the card/board is a compatible combination

remove those competitor links reptile 1, If Don see's them you will be shot :eek:

That card should fit ok, just make sure it wont hit things like your hd or hd cages.

I would remove the links to that evil site. The mods here could use the ban hammer on you.
