Will it fit?

I want to do a new build using an Aspire X-Qpack micro-ATX case. I also would like an Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 or E6600, can I fit a good enough (no over clocked) heatsink and fan into that case? I have the computer I'm using now in an Aspire X-Qpack but I don't really want to use a second hand case for a new build.

Cheers

I'd take a pic to show you but I have to be out the house in like 5 minutes. From what I've seen on a Pentium D Dual core, the heat sink and fan is MASSIVE. Considering a core 2 duo is higher spec and would presumably work hotter...

I'll take a pic when I'm back..

ive been slowly knocking up a system with this same case. are you going to clock? if not then the standard cooler would be fine, if so you would get to 3.0 easy with stock but will your board get you there? and yes, it is per core with the speed.

My initial plan is not to overclock as I think that going from an AMD Sempron 3000+ to two 2.13ghz or 2.4ghz cores is going to be big enough! But then again games need faster processors these days so I may have to overclock sometime...

I'll get the Zalman cooler anyway, it probably looks cooler than the stock and I got a new job so I can really splash out!

Also, would you say this is a good board to go with the core 2 duo E6600?
