I wanted to know if anyone has had experience using a 'Coolmaster wave master' my question is will a Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme fit inside it and if not any suggestions as to what would be a gd sub for either case of cpu cooler, keeping in mind it will need enough room for an 8800gtx??

It's unlikely that the heatsink will fit inside fully, the width of the Cooler Master Wave Master is 19.8cm and the height of the ThermalRight Ultra-120 Extreme is 16cm and you also have to remember that there's the spacing behind the motherboard, motherboard tray and finally the side panel.

I bought the ThermalRight heatsink without measuring my Silverstone TJ03 case (which interior is similar to the Wave Master) and I realised after buying it, that the side panel won't fit onto the case with the heatsink installed. If I remember correctly, the space available in my Silverstone, from the motherboard to the side panel there was only 15cm of space therefore the heatsink will stick out of the case.

The best alternative for the ThermalRight Ultra-120 Extreme is the Thermalright SI-128 SE or the EnzoTech Ultra-X as the two heatsinks aren't tower based heatsinks :)
