Not sure if it's just me but one of the biggest gripes I have with pc gamers is asking how well a game will run when it's not even released and 99% of the forum doesn't know. I've seen it so many times in the BF3 forums and what's worse some people have top end quality systems some with Tri Sli 580's asking the same question.

My Answer is -
We don't know, it isn't out yet
If you have such a high end system don't ask stupid questions, is it because you're showing off?

This is not just related to BF3 but used as an example ;)

I'm not sure if BF3 will run on the build in you sig, it's not out yet ;)

lol :p

I can probably guess how it will run but I can't say for sure till i've actually played it!

Anyhoo this isn't a BF3 thread as i've seen the question asked in a number of other threads too such as Skyrim! :(

The only thing we know about the engine it will be running on requires a DirectX 10+ graphics card, so anyone running XP will also need to upgrade to Win7 to play it.

best thing is a reasonable quad system will run it fine just the tinternets driving people crazy :D

at end of day its a modified moh . not crysis .

So whats the same questions being asked for Skyrim, again not out but people ask.. Same thing was said for Crysis 2 which at the time wasn't out :p

I'd prefer if a thread like this was around than every 5 posts getting the same question about system specs in a thread that is supposed to be about a game.

Well I've been in a position where I couldn't wait for a game to come out and then realise that my rig wasn't powerful enough to run it. I can understand people wanting to know whether their machine will be able to play it, but it is annoying.

Why don't people just wait for the system requirements list ? Surely if your that worried about upgrading you wait until you see system requirements list is released and if you system can't run it buy the parts, the hardware will most likely be cheaper by then too.

It is a really annoying question and the thing is it's totally subjective.

Some people don't mind low fps dips if they can run max details at 1920x1200. Some people hate <60 fps and would rather lower details. Some might lower rez before details. Some people totally freak out the moment they get any sort of stutter or lag.

Assuming you have a quad core or overclocked dual core and a DX11 card any game on the market is going to play ok.
