Hi Guys,

I'm just about to get a new monitor which has the capability of running 1920x1200.

Is a GTX 480 the best card to power through games at that res?

I have a Sapphire 625W PSU at the mo, will i need to upgrade that as well?

I don't really do Dual cards so im more likely to wait and upgrade to another single card when the option arrives.

Cheers

i7 950 (currently at stock), Asus X58 Sabertooth, 6Gb Patriot Viper 1600MHz RAM, OCZ Vertex 2E 60GB SSD, Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB. All plonked in a coolermaster HAF 922. I have 4 case fans in total and my ThermoLab Baram has 2 fans as well.

Starting to think it won't be enough....

Sounds like good news on the Res situation, benchmarks look good.

Anyone got a recommendation on the PSU front? Nvidia say 600W min, but wondering if anyone runs one at a lower power? or reaching its max would it make a massive noise?
