) The "plan" is to build a HTPC to be able to play dvds store some photos and music. However I am looking to do this on a budget 
(student) I was looking to use possibly a duron/sempron/celeron roughly 1.4ghz find 512mb a 250gb hdd and I was wondering if a HD 2400 would work ok with this system or would it be throttled for quality if I eventually used it for hd content if not can anyone suggest a suitable gfx card for dvds? My plan was to mount this in something inconspicuous like an old style speaker or large vcr what do you think? any suggestions?
