Will Lapping a CPU affect resale value?

I've been offered a Core i7 processor which has been lapped and I was just wondering if the fact that it's lapped would have a negative effect on the resale value, should I choose to sell it at a later date.
 
Its a retail CPU so still would've had a couple of years warranty left but obviously won't have now. It's been previously clocked to 4.8GHz phase cooled
