We are trying to run some Ethernet and hdmi cables under floorboards along a channel already there for mains electric cables like a bunch of 6 thick mains cable.

Tested hdmi cables outside and were working fine. Ran underneath along with mains cables and no longer working.

15m fibre hdmi cables so would have thought it should be free from interference.

The Ethernet cables seems to be working fine.

The only issue you might have is interference, but I'd be rather surprised if you do. Can you not test it for a bit before putting the floorboards down?
We put one in, didn’t work. Tested the other outside, removed non working one and put replacement in. And it reversed, the non working one started working outside, and the working one stopped working inside!

Having slept on it, realised I’ve been a bit of a donut.

The cables are directional!

So we’ve been testing them outside and working, and from wherever we’ve tested have started feeding the cable through to the other side ending up on opposite direction!

To be fair to me I’ve never used a directional hdmi cable, it’s just these fibre hdmi cables that are.
