Will my 3000 DDR4 work with the 3700x ?

Hi All

I am about to buy a 3700x to replace my 5 1600 in my Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 rev1 Motherboard.
I currently own TForce Vulcan 32gb Ram 3000mhz (4 x 8gb sticks) and at the moment want to avoid buying new ram if I can help it as I need a new GPU (Waiting for the 2080s)

Will the 3700x have any issues with my ram?

Not seen a kit of 32gb in 4 x 8 from the Team Group T-Force Vulcan line
Well if you do run into trouble, take 2 sticks out & run 16gb in dual mode

But if you already running that 4x 8gb kit with your ryzen 5 1600 CPU you should be fine

Take it you already updated the bios to latest for 3700x

Its not a kit as such I started with 16gb and then bought another 16gb a few years later. I need 32gb for DCS in VR (Flight sim)
I have updated my bios to yes, thanks :-)
