Will my bits fit in a Prodigy?

Considering a prodigy, I know id need a new mobo. Currently looking at the Gigabyte z77 board. Will I be able to clock my 2500K back to its current 4Ghz using a Z77 board?

I know my 7950 will fit but will I be able to use my H50 cooler?

More of a concern tho is will my OCZ ZX 1000WPSU fit in it? Its a big PSU lol.

Only other things to go in would be a single 2.5" SSD and a standard 3.5" HDD

The H50 will work fine, the prodigy can take 120mm fans so the H50 will fit fine. and it also has room for your drives too.

Sandybridge works fine on the ivybridge Z77 platform, I currently use a 2500k with a z77 asus board and I have no issues.

You'll be OK with a good 550W. PSU needs to be 160mm in depth, or lower.

Ok, swapped my PSU.

Now all I need to decide is H77 or Z77. Wonder how much my cpu would hold back my 7950 if I ran the 2500K @ stock an an H77.

Shouldn't be too much if atall, i very much doubt it will atall..

You can always use the turbo frequency (3.8Ghz)

if you want to keep it tidy may i suggest the silverstone ST65F-G. it fits in perfectly
